DESCRIPTION:EAT STREET REPEAT | Facebook are hosting an event at the War Memorial Park\, Lickhill Road\, Stourport-on-Severn on Sunday 25th August: \nThe “Mayors Charity Shenanigans” in aid of the Mayor of Stourport’s chosen charities: WBUH (worcsbreastunithaven.com) and Homepage | Parkinson’s UK (parkinsons.org.uk).  \n  \nThis is a FREE family fun day\, with a twist\, and will encompass: \n\nLocal Street Food traders\, with a bar and cocktails.\nA main stage with performances by local musical acts.  The Bandstand will be used for open mic sessions for up and coming local performers.\nThere will be bouncy castles\, a kids disco\, magician and face painter.\n\n  \nOnce the event finishes you might want to continue into the Stourport Town Centre to visit one of the many pubs in town who will have live bands performing during the evening. \n  \nPlease do come along and bring your friends and families to support this event and raise monies for these two important charities.  WBUH is thrilled to be chosen as one of the Mayor’s chosen beneficiaries.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for our first Soundbath event on Tuesday 10th September 2024. \n  \nWHAT HAPPENS AT A SOUND BATH? \nYou simply lie back fully clothed on a yoga mat with cushions and a blanket and let all your worries melt away to the blissful sounds and vibrations of the sacred gong\, Tibetan bowls\, quartz crystal singing bowls\, harmonic chimes and other restful instruments. \nThese sounds take you into a deep state of meditation quietening the busy ‘mind chatter’ and allows the body\, mind and emotions to relax and rest. The vibrations work down to a cellular level giving what is known as a ‘sonic massage’ removing energy blockages and helping to rebalance the body. You switch from the ‘Fight or Flight’ branch of the Autonomic Nervous System and into the relaxed ‘Rest & Repair’. DESCRIPTION:WBUH Perfectly Pink Ball \nOur 3rd Perfectly Pink Ball for the Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven (WBUH) Charity is taking place on SATURDAY 12th OCTOBER 2024 in the Elgar Suite of the Bank House Hotel (Bransford).  The ball will take place during Breast Cancer Awareness Month – a very important month for our charity to raise funds and awareness of breast cancer and WBUH as the only breast cancer charity in the county. \n\n\n\nTICKETS ON SALE NOW!!!\n \n\n\nRun\, don’t walk – this is a sell-out night!\n \n\n\n£70 per ticket includes 3 course sit down dinner\, live music and so much more!\n \n\n\nYou can buy tickets individually or as a couple\, gang\, group – it’s up to you.
