DESCRIPTION:On Saturday 8th March Astley Vineyard’s Bev Haywood will be host an evening of Cheese and Wine tasting at Areley Kings Village Hall. \nBev will start the evening talking to guests about the Family’s journey and the history of the Vineyard.  This will be followed by an introduction to wine\, with sampling of three of the Vineyard’s wines.  Guests will then be served a selection of cheese to enjoy\, as they sit back and enjoy the remainder of the evening. \nThere will be a selection of Astley Vineyard’s wine to purchase and also a raffle. \nAll monies are being raised in aid of the Mayor of Stourport’s chosen charities Worcestershire Breast Haven Unit and Parkinsons UK. \nThe evening will begin at 8.00pm and tickets are £25.00 each (or a table of 8 can be bought for £192.00). \nTickets are now available to purchase by emailing annette.phillips@stourporttowncouncil.gov.uk

DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to have been chosen as the charity beneficiary to the wonderful The Film Orchestra upcoming concert taking place this Summer at Spetchley Court. \n‘Soundtracks at Spetchley Park’ will take place on Saturday June 7th at 7pm\, with gates open for picnics at 6pm.  \nThe Film Orchestra (TfO) is a voluntary orchestra of professional\, semi-professional and keen amateur musicians which was set up in Worcester in 2013 by Jane Whittle. \nOriginally an amateur rehearsal orchestra\, TfO has developed to a 70-piece symphonic orchestra which performs only original music for film\, TV & video games and was the 1st such orchestra in the UK to specialise in this genre. \nUnder the baton of TfO Principal Conductor\, David Curtis the orchestra has gone from strength to strength since his appointment in January 2020\, performing at theatres\, churches\, festivals & film locations across the region. \nThe addition of the TfO Choir under the direction of Amy Alden in 2023 has added a further discussion to this mighty force as both orchestra and choir seek to recreate in concert those special moments from the history of screen music love to its growing fanbase of concert-goers and enthusiasts. \n  \nTickets are £25 (under 16s £15) available by email: janewhittle.tfo@gmail.com \nYou can find out more about The Film Orchestra and how to book here
